Piggery Lane Studio

In the early 1900’s the Piggery and Piggery Lane were an important and active part of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College.

The Piggery Lane Studios, (building D9) are located on Richmond campus of the Western Sydney University, at the corner of Campus Drive (formerly Piggery Lane) and since 1978 have been a part of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop and now used as working Studios and Gallery’s of six HCAW artists. At present the artists are Kym Morris, Jenny Lloyd, Marian Wilcox, Malcolm Robertson, Sharron Whittington, Shelley Whittington.

The Studios are open every first Saturday of the month from 10 am- 4pm and are also  participating members of ‘Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail’ which is usually held the last weekend in September, Piggery Lane Studios are regularly   represented in the annual ‘Hawkesbury Art Fair’ usually on in October/November and now renamed ‘Hawkesbury Now’.
